More than a dozen years ago, I was introduced to metal cock rings by Gear Essentials and it sparked a desire which eventually lead me to start my own company. Their stainless steel rings are impressive and - at the time - felt both costly and heavy. I loved mine, still have them, and was inspired to want something more.

This week, I learned Gear Essentials is closing their store and it has made me introspective about my own business and its future longevity. I have no idea why they are closing and won't speculate but it's clear they are not selling their business, they are getting out.

We are trying to do something very different with the King Rings brand, in our minds we don't fit neatly into the typical Adult marketplace but are subject to the same tightly restricted (or denied) access to the most lucrative marketing platforms. At this point we are heavily invested with inventory approaching $1M retail and looking down the barrel of an impending recession.

|
Word of mouth marketing is the best there is and, if you love your rings, we encourage you to let others know. The rings are certainly treasures to be proud of and we hope our products improve your life in small but meaningful ways.
