Sizing Refined
Standing On Experience
When we launched King Rings in 2018, our sizing kit was three black plastic rings - your selected sizes in a range you had to first identify.
Today, we produce our sizing kits fully in-house, ship a standard fourteen ring sizes, and include years of accumulated advice gathered from customer feedback, experimentation, and experience.
Recently, we turned our attention to the guides themselves.
The result is a completely revised Sizing Process and Fitting Guide. The core advice remains the same, but the presentation is clearer, more visual, and the path from sizing rings to metal ring is easier to follow.
The biggest change involves our Fitting Guide. What was once printed in a pamphlet exclusively for sizing kit owners is now available online for everyone to read. Some secrets are meant to be shared.

Personal Notes
A funny thing happened to me on the way to this month's newsletter.
I found myself looking back through some of our older product photography. This month's Ring of the Month, Island Wood, was among them.
When that feature photo was created - the one you see in the catalog - I spent a ridiculous amount of time building an environment around the ring. And taking heat from my co-founder for defoliating her tropical house plants.
The goal wasn't simply to show the product, I wanted the image to reveal its scale and tell a story that was true to the ring's character.
Today, creating an image like that is easier than ever. The tools have changed dramatically in just a few short years. What's strange is that some of my favorite photographs now risk being mistaken for something they are not.
All of the images we created in years past were entirely real. Real props. Real backgrounds. Real lighting. No green screens. No shortcuts. Just trial, error, and more than a few failed attempts. Then finally capturing a shot that does the ring justice and spending years listening to customers tell you the photos don't do it justice anyway.
Island Wood has been with us since the beginning. Those early photographs reminded me that good work tends to age surprisingly well.
Even when people aren't quite sure how it was made.

Recent Praise: Jeff started his collection with Tempest, an inspired choice and a personal favorite of our founder for reasons which will not be explained. We say "started" because most guys don't stop at one and Jeff seems like a guy who knows what's good.
