We are moving! Well, the website isn't going anywhere put we are packing up our physical office and moving to a new location in another State. The new, dedicated office space will give us more room for our 3D print farm, ever growing inventory, and adds a new Operations Center to make order fulfillment easier.
|
|
|
At the moment, we occupy both our original office and the new office, with materials and inventory split between. This adds some challenges to inventory management but we are hoping disruptions will be minimal. The move will also require some Out Of Office periods this Spring, one as long as two weeks.

|
Related, I recently had an airport security experience. We get asked all the time if our rings will set off alarms in metal detectors and our answer is always a resounding "hell, yes!". Several months ago, a good customer friend of ours posted a funny story about his experience with TSA, you can read it here (NSFW). My story is not as colorful but did create a lot of intrigue at a small mid-west airport.

The short of it is, I sent a bag through the scanner which contained 6 boxes holding 35 pounds of cock and glans rings. I watched as the conveyor stopped, the agent looked closer, and then called a colleague over to review. After a too-long pause, the conveyor moved and my bag was pulled for inspection. "Whose bag is this?" they said. Here we go.

I thought for sure once the two dudes unzipped the bag and peeked into one box they'd be satisfied. I was wrong. The bag got emptied and every one of the 6 boxes was opened and inspected, rings were removed so they could see nothing was hidden inside them. They attempted to re-pack it all but ultimately pushed the tray my direction so I could recover there in front of the other suspected terrorists in line.

It will happen again. And again. My travel and business plans are such that I am doomed to relive this scenario repeatedly. Hopefully, I'll see the same agents again and they'll let me pass with a wink and a smile.
